Why the practice exists
Field service applications are sold as a single picture of the work: the board, the van, the job, the invoice. On a Malaysian facilities or maintenance contract that picture frays quickly. Travel times ignore the PLUS, entitlements still match a contract that expired, and the mobile form was designed for a warehouse Wi-Fi that the rooftop does not have.
The three of us came from the yard side of that gap. Aisha ran dispatch. Wei Ming closed jobs with a handset that fought the weather. Priya reconciled parts that finance believed had been issued. We started writing down what we saw because the project packs from go-live no longer described the week in front of us.
An audit here is still that habit: a named week, a live system, a findings session with the people who operate it. We will not sell you a replacement platform as the default answer. If the current application can be made honest, that is what the letter will say.

Aisha Rahman
Lead auditor, dispatch and SLA
Aisha spent twelve years as a duty planner and service manager for a facilities contractor covering the Klang Valley before she began auditing the applications those teams were told to trust. She still prefers a live board to a process map.
Tan Wei Ming
Field observer, mobile and yard practice
Wei Ming comes from electrical and HVAC field work. He rides along, times the handset against the job, and writes findings that technicians recognise. He is the person who will tell you the form is unusable in the rain.
Priya Nair
Inventory and integrations
Priya traces parts and customer records until they either match or they do not. She has counted vans in Shah Alam at dawn and sat with finance the same afternoon to explain why the issue ticket never reached billing.
Where we work
The office is in Kuala Lumpur. Most engagements are in the Klang Valley, with travel to Penang, Johor Bahru, and Kuantan when the yard is there. We need a host on site, read-only access to the live application, and permission to ride along without a scripted tour.
